We’re Maddie and Dani — partners in life and in our work! Maddie is the photographer, Dani is the videographer, and together we make up Old Soul Studio. We’re newlyweds ourselves (we got married in Oaxaca this past October), and we know firsthand just how meaningful, emotional, and wildly fast a wedding day can feel. We also know how important it is to be present for it. We're here to help you do that, while creating a time-capsule that will honor your love and your wedding day.

A little about us! New England is home for us, and we never get tired of it. There’s so much depth here — rugged coastlines, quiet towns, and a sense of soul you can feel. It’s a place that has a tangible personality and a layered history, and that’s something we try to bring into our work.

We love the ocean — salty air, sandy feet, outdoor showers, shucking oysters and eating clams with friends until the table is a mess but no one cares. We love dinner parties in all forms: hosting them, being invited to them, lingering late with people we love gathered around a table. We’re endlessly drawn to anything vintage — flea markets, thrift stores, old cameras (of course), and vintage clothing; rehabbing old furniture, old turntables, old boats, and old cards. We love anything with a story behind it.

We fell in love with each other and with storytelling. We truly love what we do — getting to create together, to step into such an important moment in someone’s life, and to help usher couples through it with calm, care, and joy. Work often feels like a double date: genuinely getting to connect with amazing couples never stops being one of our favorite parts of the job. We value the trust that our couples put into us to tell their story, and our goal is always the same — to make something honest, beautiful, moving, and lasting.
